Who we are and what we are doing?
The Main Objectives of Cahul Business Incubator:
- To facilitate and conduct various informational services relating to promotion of entrepreneurship;
- Training in business skills development for beginning entrepreneurs;
- To promote and develop high-end entrepreneurship for manpower as well as self-employment by utilizing technological and creative innovation;
- Business consulting and information services as well as facilitating SMEs’ access to funding sources;
- Creation of technology based new enterprises and creating more new jobs and services.
The Business Incubator from Cahul cooperates and communicates with the Cahul Chamber of Industry and Commerce (RM), the Tracia Chamber of Industry and Commerce (RM), the South Regional Development Agency (RM), the European Institute of Regional Development in Moldova, B.P. Hasdeu University Cahul (RM), Maritime University of Constanta (RO) and Technopark University Kocaeli (TR).
The Cahul Business Incubator hosts 2 residents, beneficiaries of the Women in Business Program launched through ODIMM, a program that provides women with relevant business development services and investment support. The staff of the Cahul Business Incubator provides consultations and urges residents and other entrepreneurs / potential entrepreneurs to participate in various national and international programs launched in support of SMEs, this contributing to the economic development of the region and the city of Cahul.
In September 2018, a collaboration protocol was concluded regarding the establishment of the Cahul Creative Cluster, signed by 20 partners, including 7 residents of the Cahul Business Incubator and other economic agents in the region.
Currently, Cahul Business Incubator’s staff working for ISO certification, also appeal to national and international programs: Call for proposals: – “EU4Youth – Fostering youth employment and societal challenge through social entrepreneurship”; „European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) Country-based Support Scheme for the Republic of Moldova”; „Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC”;
„Boosting cREative induSTRies in urbAn Regeneration for a stronger Danube region (RESTART_4Danube)”; Support to Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the field of Green Economy implemented by GIZ.
